KytoGraft - Absorbent Wound Dressing (Single sachet)

Description:
KytoGraft is a 100% chitosan dressing. It has the ability to absorb maximum moisture from wound site.
It transforms into a gel upon absorption of wound exudate. KytoGraft helps to maintain a moist environment for optimal wound healing.

Indications:

•         Acute and chronic Wounds

•         Bacterially contaminated wounds

•         Surgical wounds

•         Cavity wounds

•         Diabetic foot ulcers and venous leg ulcers

•         Pressure ulcers

•         Donor sites and Graft sites

•         Skin abrasions and lacerations

•         Severe burns

How to apply:

1)         Clean the wound site with normal saline.

2)        Open the package and remove KytoGraft dressing.

3)        Cut the dressing according to wound site and apply on wound.

4)        Secure with a suitable secondary dressing.

5)      Dressing change frequency will depend on wound condition and level of exudate. When exudates level are low, the dressing    should be changed after a maximum of four days to promote skin healing.

         To remove dressing, irrigate with sufficient water or normal saline and gently peel it off.

Contra-Indications:

•         Surgical Implantation

•         To control heavy bleeding

•         Patients with known sensitivity to chitosan.

Precautions:

•         Don’t use if package is damaged.

•         If required, use normal saline or water to remove dressing.

•         For single use only.

Storage:

•         Keep at room temperature.

•         Protect from sunlight and moisture.
